2024-2025 BMHCC Benefits

To better understand the benefits available to you and to enroll, benefits-eligible team members, must speak with a professional benefits counselor to enroll in or waive benefits. During your one-on-one appointment, you can ask questions, enroll yourself and your dependent(s) in coverage, and submit your beneficiary information for the employer-provided life insurance. Benefits counselors are available over the phone or via WebEx.

Resident Benefits

General

  • 2 embroidered white coats. Routine white coat laundering offered.

  • Administrative Time: Paid time for attending administrative events (job/fellowship interviews, conference presentation, etc.)

  • MKSAP Complete provided at PGY-1 year (Digital)
  • $1,000 ACP-ITE (Internal Medicine In-Training Examination)
  • AMBOSS membership
  • Membership to the Mississippi Medical Association
  • Membership to the ACP (American College of Physicians) – including the Mississippi local chapter
  • Annals of Internal Medicine – resident/fellows get a free print and online subscription to Annals, which is among the most widely cited peer-reviewed medical journals in the world that includes original research, review articles, clinical practice guidelines, and personal narratives.
  • BLS and ACLS certification
